Is there a party the night before?

Answer

Yes! We're hosting a welcome party at The Vintage Lounge. Cocktails will be served, so be sure to have dinner beforehand. We have a ton of restaurant recommendations on the "Things to do & places to eat" tab. Feel free to text us for any additional dinner suggestions! The party will be held on their covered back patio, and while they will have heat lamps, please dress accordingly. Casual attire is encouraged. Immediate family and the wedding party will be dressed up, but guests are welcome to dress casually. Location: Vintage Lounge, 545 King St

What’s the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Creative Black Tie Optional. Louder colors and fun prints are welcome! Gentlemen should wear suits or tuxes.

Will there be transportation to and from hotel block for the reception?

Answer

Yes, shuttles will pick guests up at Hotel Bennett and the Courtyard by Marriott Charleston Historic District at 3:15PM. If you are staying elsewhere, you should meet at the Hotel Bennett to hop on the shuttle. Uber, Lyft, and cabs are also fairly accessible if you are staying downtown, though they may take some time for places outside the downtown area. Please arrive to Lowndes Grove by 3:45PM

Will the event be indoor or outdoor?

Answer

The ceremony will take place outdoors, followed by the reception under a heated tent. Pashminas will be available for guests, but feel free to bring a jacket if the weather is cool.

Yes! Shuttles will bring guests to the Blind Tiger.

Is there a Brunch on Sunday?

Answer

No, we won’t be hosting a brunch on Sunday, but the bride and groom will be hanging out at Red Palm to watch football all day. Feel free to stop by for a drink or two! https://redpalmtavern.com/
