Are the ceremony and reception at the same venue?

Answer

Yes, both our ceremony and reception will take place at San Clemente Shore by Wedgewood Weddings, 150 E Avenida Magdalena, San Clemente, CA.

What time should guests arrive?

Answer

Please plan to arrive 30 minutes before the ceremony begins to allow time for parking and seating.

What is the wedding party wearing?

Answer

The wedding party are wearing shades of blue. The mothers of the bride and groom are wearing green.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Elevated Garden Party Chic. Recommended colors: rose, coral, marigold, sage, olive, fuchsia, sunflower yellow, poppy red, navy, tan, gray, eucalyptus green, and any floral patterns. We’re celebrating among coastal gardens and ocean air, so keep the fabrics comfortable and light! We recommend comfortable shoes or block heels since parts of the venue are on grass or paths.

Is the ceremony indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors overlooking the golf course, and the reception will be both indoors and outdoors. Bring a light layer for the evening breeze!

Where should I stay?

Answer

There is a hotel block reserved at the Hampton Inn & Suites San Clemente with 12 rooms on Friday, and 20 rooms on Saturday and Sunday. Please contact the hotel with event name Bird Wedding for availability. There are several great options within 5–10 minutes: Hampton Inn & Suites San Clemente (closest to the venue) Casa Tropicana Boutique Hotel Holiday Inn Express San Clemente North

Is parking available at the venue?

Answer

Yes! There is free parking onsite at San Clemente Shore. Carpooling or rideshare (Uber/Lyft) is encouraged if you’re staying nearby.

John Wayne Airport (SNA): ~35 minutes Long Beach Airport (LGB): ~55 minutes San Diego International (SAN): ~1 hour 10 minutes

Yes! Drinks are on us tonight plus non-alcoholic options.

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

Dinner will be buffet-style and includes a variety of options. The catering team can accommodate most needs, including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free.

Are children invited?

Please check your invitation- if your envelope is addressed to “The Smith Family,” children are welcome! Otherwise, we are keeping the celebration adults-only. Thank you for understanding.
