We’re getting married!

Toni + Carter met on the west coast of California, in the heart of sunny San Diego. Their first date found them holding hands and walking the boardwalk of Pacific Beach for hours, they had their first kiss in a bucket seat of the Del Mar Fairgrounds Grand Ferris Wheel, and had their first ‘I love you’s lounging on a picnic blanket at the iconic Sunset Cliffs of Ocean Beach. Before moving together to Carter’s home state of Florida, the pair explored the west coast via the Pacific Coast Highway all the way up to the Redwoods of Northern California and then on to Portland Oregon. The crossed off a bucket list item by traveling to Bali together in 2019 and Carter indulges Toni’s love of attending music festivals when they have the opportunity. Carter loves to cook at home and both are passionate about their vegan lifestyle and environmentally sustainable choices. The proposal was intimate and private--Carter got down on one knee in their kitchen in the middle of quarantine during summer of 2020. They can’t wait to graduate with their medical field degrees in 2023, buy a house, and adopt a couple dogs!
