Foosball night at apartment 106!!! Carter and his friends used to host get-togethers at his apartment where a foosball tournament would take place and fun times would ensue. We met at the very first foosball night, but only really learned of each other's names. Although we did not know much about each other, we were hoping we would meet up again at the next one. Luckily, the next foosball night was planned and we both attended. We talked almost all night learning about each other and most importantly laughing all night long. This is something that hasn't changed throughout our relationship as we still laugh with each other all night long!

Our first date was hammocking at Sequoyah Park and watching the movie "Whiplash" while learning all about each other and enjoying the scenery (well, just Nikki because Carter fell asleep 10 minutes in). On July 24th, three days before we moved to Sacramento, California, we met again at the same spot where our whole journey started. Between the two trees, where we set up our hammock, was now a backdrop of memories in the form of pictures hanging on strung-up lights, along with an umbrella for the thunderstorm that was quickly approaching. The moment was incredibly special for us because not only was it one of our favorite spots to go on walks and grow with each other, but it represented the journey of our relationship to that point and showed how we could grow in the future. Both of us love exploring and adventuring out to find new places, but we also never forget who we are or where we started. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you and hope we can always share our adventures with the ones we love! See you in TN!
