Question
What is the best way to get to the Delaware beaches?
Answer
If you are flying in for the wedding, the closest airports are Philadelphia (about a 2 hour ride) and BWI (about a 2.5 hour ride). We recommend you then rent a car. Street parking and town-owned parking lots are free for this weekend as it is still considered the off-season. Both the Hyatt and Coast hotels have parking garages, as do many of the other hotels in the area.

What is the attire for the weekend?
Answer
The attire for Friday evening is beach casual! Jeff and Carter will be wearing collared shirts with pants. This event will be outdoors with an indoor option available - please check the weather and dress appropriately! The attire for the wedding and reception is formal - tuxedoes and gowns are not required. Jeff and Carter will both be wearing suits. The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outside, so again, please dress appropriately!

What transportation is available for the weekend?
Answer
As we anticipate many of our guests will be staying at various locations throughout the beach area, we will not be providing transportation for the wedding events. Ubers and Lyfts are plentiful throughout the beaches. There are parking lots at each of the venues for the weekend should you decide to drive.

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?
Answer
We plan to start the ceremony promptly at 4:30 and ask that everyone is seated by 4:15.

Are the wedding weekend events indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Weather permitting, the welcome party on Friday evening, the ceremony, and cocktail hour will all take place outdoors. Please check the weather and dress appropriately! In the event of rain, we have alternative options for both Friday and Saturday events.
