Elise and Carter met in 2021 in the most romantic of places, that's right you guessed it ladies and gentlemen, the Wakefield Bank of America parking lot. However, their story began two years prior when their mother's, both schoolteachers at Park View tried to play cupid and set the two of them up on a date. Momma Sue sent photos of Carter to Lynne to show Elise and Lynne sent photos of Elise to Momma Sue to show Carter. Both of them were interested in each other so Momma Sue shared Elise's number with Carter to set up a date. Carter was so nervous to go on a date with Elise and Elise was way out of his league, so Carter regrettably never reached out to pursue anything further. What Momma Sue and Lynne didn't realize was in that moment they had created a spark that would rekindle two years later. Elise moved back to Rhode Island after finishing her degree at Saint Anselm and Carter had just returned home from deployments oversees. Thats when Elise and Carter created dating profiles online and immediately came across each other, both recognizing one another from their parents' matchmaking attempt they decided to give it a shot. Carter was so nervous for their first date so he called Momma Sue and asked if he could bring their dog Mitsy on the date. Mitsy had already had plans to go to New Hampshire with Momma Sue but in the end Sue let Carter take Mitsy to meet Elise at the Wakefield Bike Path for a walk and drink at Whalers Brewery. Carter clipped a handful of his mother's Dalias from the flower garden and that is how they ended up in the Bank of America parking lot two years later where their Love Story began.
