What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is Garden black tie optional. Ladies, we ask that you wear your best and favourite colors, brights, pastels and fun patterns are encouraged. It is spring after all! Please avoid white, ivory, champagne, black and navy. The path at the Elizabethan Gardens is uneven in a few places, so be sure to keep this in mind when selecting your footwear. Gentlemen, please wear your best suit or tuxedo, and we encourage you as well to add a pop of color.

The ceremony will take place in the Elizabethan Gardens on Roanoke Island, at the Overlook Terrace. The address for the Elizabethan Gardens is: 1411 National Park Drive Manteo, NC 27954

Where is the Reception?

Answer

The Reception will take place at Waterfront Trellis in Downtown Manteo overlooking the water. The Address for Waterfront Trellis: 207 Queen Elizabeth Ave #5 Manteo, NC 27954

Is there parking?

Answer

There is abundant parking at The Elizabethan Gardens. There is free public street parking throughout downtown Manteo near Waterfront Trellis.

Are kids welcome?

As much as we love your little ones, this will be an adults-only celebration. We hope this advance notice means you’re able to let your hair down and celebrate with us on the day!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We are at capacity with our venue, which means we are sadly unable to accommodate additional guests. We look forward to celebrating with you on the day!

Question

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

There is a room block at The Tranquil House Inn in Manteo. We strongly recommend Airbnb as well.
