Carter and Camila’s first date was at a local Korean place in Gainesville called Momoyaki. They connected on their shared values, the importance of family, and a mutual love of horror movies. It didn’t hurt that Camila had such a pretty accent, or that Carter was so charming! The couple still goes to that restaurant on occasion for Carter’s favorite meal: Beef Bibimbap!

One of Camila’s favorite places is the beach. As for Carter… not so much! However, Carter agreed to go down to the beach at Fort DeSoto as part of our anniversary celebration. Little did Camila know, Carter had been planning a proposal at that spot for months. Once they got to the beach, Camila saw the phrase “Marry Me?” spelled out in rose petals (thanks mom!) and responded to Carter’s proposal with a firm “for sure!”
