A mystical marriage in the mountains

Carter and Daniel met for the first time at a mutual friend's house in late 2015. They were friendly enough, but didn't get close until early 2017 when they began dating. They only dated for a few months, and went their separate ways after. Most young love stories end there. However, Carter and Daniel's love story began a new chapter when he asked her on a date after almost a year. She agreed, not knowing what to expect but was excited to see him after so long. The date went exceedingly well and the pair have been nearly inseparable ever since.

After we had been together for a while, we realized how much we wanted to live together on our own. We looked around at apartments and other rentals but everything in the area was ridiculously overpriced for the quality of the rental. One day we were looking through houses for sale in the area, and saw one located right between the homes of some good friends of ours (Gage, Tori, Joey, we're looking at you!) and joked about the idea of buying it. Fast forward a few months and we found ourselves purchasing the house for a GREAT price. Considering we got it at such a steal, it definitely needed work before we could move in. The very same day that we closed on our home, we were ripping up carpets and pulling out staples. We sanded, stained, and sealed the original hardwood floors. It took months of blood, sweat and tears, but we turned an unloved, outdated house into a beautiful home. It's far from finished, but we love it anyway. Our home has become a safe haven for all three of us and we are so thankful for it every day.
