We met when they didn't have high hopes for love. Carly moved the Charlotte single and had been unsuccessfully trying to date for almost 2 years. Carter was dating again after a tough relationship. We had both seen our share of drama and bad relationships, by this point in our lives it was pretty clear to us what we were looking for. As soon as we met, we knew we found our missing piece. We both felt very at home with each other and building trust was so easy. We've been best friends from the start! Our little family consists of our 2 cats (Angus & Piper) and puppy (Meko). We both love animals and could not imagine a household without them. We also share a love for cycling, Autumn in the mountains, Asian & Italian cuisine, pop/punk music of the early 2000's, video games, vinyl records, and Rupaul's Drag Race. We are also opposites in a lot of ways, but in ways that balance each other out. Carly is an academic that enjoys researching and planning, while Carter has so much practical knowledge that helps Carly be spontaneous and adapt. Carter is super outgoing and helps fill conversations when Carly's social battery has run out. Carly reminds Carter to advocate for himself and his needs, while Carter reminds Carly to lead from the heart with generosity. We truly are each other's missing puzzle piece.
