FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We encourage guests to dress in black tie optional, breezy summer elegance. Long, flowy dresses or dressy outfits that will help you stay comfortable in the warm weather. For those wearing heels, please note there will be grass areas during the ceremony and cocktail hour, while the reception will take place on tile. Walking distances throughout the event are minimal. For reference, the bridal party will be dressed in light shades of blue.

Question

how do I get to the wedding?

Answer

Herrington on the Bay is located right on the Chesapeake Bay in North Beach, Maryland, about an hour from Washington, DC and Annapolis. For guests traveling in, the closest major airports are Reagan National Airport (DCA), Baltimore/Washington International (BWI), and Washington Dulles International (IAD). All are within about an hour to an hour and a half drive from the venue. There is plenty of on-site parking available for guests. Uber and Lyft are available, but they can be limited later in the evening, so it is a good idea to plan ahead for your ride home. Traffic can get busy on weekends, especially in the summer, so we recommend giving yourself a little extra time to arrive.

Question

Will there be transportation?

Answer

Yes, there will be transportation available for guests both before the ceremony and after the reception, with pickups from the inn and the Rod ‘N Reel. Official pickup times are still to be determined.

Question

Do i have a plus one?

Answer

Question
