How it all started

Fifteen years was worth the wait

We meet through mutual friends and we would always run into each other at the same ''hang out' spots in our hometown. We both were in high school about to graduate, just starting our lives, but we would always keep in-touch or follow each other on Facebook. One day back in May of 2017, Stephen message me on Facebook one night after he realized I was single. We chatted, exchanged phone numbers and it took us about a week or so before we went on our first date. Our first date was perfect, just caught up on life while eating pizza and we could tell their was a instant connection that night and we ended it with our first kiss. (it was a night I couldn't never forget). We started ''Dating'' but it got hard because I moved to Mississippi for about three months into our relationship. It definitely made us strong as a couple because Stephen was so supportive. About a month into this big move, I known I loved him and I couldn't picture my life without him so I was determine to move back home and that was the best decision I ever made. After that our love story finally began . After traveling, meeting the families, celebrating holidays, I known he was the love of my life after about a year into it.

The Proposal

October 14, 2018

Finally after asking my parents especially my dad, Stephen kept a proposal from me for months until he got on one knee. That Saturday we went to the Air show at Atlanta Motor speedway with his parents and Bentley (Stephen's son). That night we decide to grill out with his parents and relax for the rest of the evening. Well dinner was over, Brentley went to go spend the night at Grandma's house and as soon as they left. I asked Stephen what was going on because he kicked me off the back porch for about twenty mins. He told me to seat down, he went into the bedroom, came back and got on one knee in front of me in our living room, told me how much he loved me, and then asked me to marrying him. I immediately said "YES" with tears coming down my face in disbelief. It was absolutely perfect in every way (blurring because I cried and cried) But we are both excited about this new adventure and I can not wait to marry my best friend.
