I Tatyana was on a travel RN assignment on Whidbey Island. I had just moved back to the west side of WA from Spokane. I wanted a fresh start, and a chance to experience a small critical access hospital in the small town of Coupeville. I was working nights at Whidbey Medical Center. I love coffee so of course I would drive 20 minutes into the "larger" town of Oak Harbor. Late at night there are not many coffee options but there is always Starbucks! I went through the Drive-Thru and alas right in front of me was a smiling young man with bright blue eyes and a calming presence. Our eyes locked in and we couldn't take our eyes off each other. We got to talking and for over a month I was getting coffee and this barista man was always there at the window when I came through... I wasn't sure if he was flirting or just being kind. I called him "Carter" (I actually thought that was his name since he never corrected me). I kept coming to get coffee until one day we exchanged numbers so we could hangout. We went Bowling on the Navy base for our first date and from there we both knew we had something special. That was just the beginning of our story and God bringing us together.
