Savannah: It all started on Tinder in 2021 — not the most romantic place, but hey, modern love, right? I was 21, Carson was 20, and somewhere between all the fishing photos and gym selfies, I saw his profile. Then came his corny pick-up line. I rolled my eyes… but also smiled. Against my better judgment, I responded — and that one cheesy message somehow turned into our first date at T-Blancos. Carson: For the record, the pick-up line worked. I still say it was clever. Anyway, I picked her up, took her to T- Blancos, and did my best to act confident while trying not to spill queso on myself. Afterward we sat in my car watching the sunset. I wanted to kiss her so bad, but I chickened out. Luckily, she gave me another chance later that night. Savannah: He did redeem himself. And honestly, from that night on, we were basically inseparable. Carson: A few weeks later, I decided I wanted to make things official. So I set up a picnic down by the pond behind Mobberly Church — candles, wine, a big poster, the whole thing. When she showed up, she was all smiles, and when I asked her to be my girlfriend, she said yes without hesitation. Savannah: That was October 18th, and we’ve been saying “yes” to pretty much everything ever since. We’re both total “why not?” people. Spontaneous road trip? Yes. Random invite? Yes. Baseball game, even though we’ll argue over Astros vs. Rangers the entire time? Definitely yes. Carson: We’ve had a lot of fun adventures, but Galveston is kind of our place. It’s where we’ve made some of our best memories — beach days, sunsets, and one really wild night walk that ended with us stumbling through a full-on rave under the pier. When we came back an hour later, the cops were everywhere and everyone was getting arrested. We just stood there like, “Well, that escalated quickly.” Savannah: Classic us — wrong place, right people. Carson: Fast forward to October 14th, 2025. We were in Mexico, and I had this whole proposal planned by the beach. I was so nervous that I could barely speak on the walk there. Savannah: Which is how I knew something was up — he’s never that quiet. When we got to the setup, it was perfect. He was nervous, I was smiling ear to ear, and the second he got down on one knee, everything just felt right. Carson: She said yes (thankfully), and we had dinner right there by the water. It was the perfect night — just the two of us, finally engaged after four amazing years. Savannah: We’ve grown up together, laughed until we cried, and built something really special. Carson: And we wouldn’t be here without our families and friends — the people who’ve cheered us on every step of the way. Both: We’ve always been each other’s favorite adventure, and now we can’t wait to start the biggest one yet. 💍
