I’m lucky enough to have been best friends with Carson since Day 1. Unfortunately for him, he had to endure an excruciating year and two months before I was finally born. I met Andrea at an event at Armijo when I was 14, though she has no memory of this encounter. After the Bride and Groom rejected several of my drafts, I’ve been advised to keep this bio short and sweet. I’m beyond excited to celebrate this marriage with everyone—and good luck filtering my truths during the Best Man’s speech.

Back in 2015, I unfortunately had to hear Andrea sing “Love Me Like You Do” by Ellie Goulding for weeks because Carson took his sweet time asking her out. When he finally did, I questioned his sanity as I’ve grown up with Andrea and although she keeps her composure around others (for the most part), she is my weird, crazy, dramatic, dancing queen, little sister. Little did I know, Carson secretly matched her energy. From not knowing how to turn on the stove to boil water to setting the fire alarm off each time they cooked, to aggressive Zumba sessions on the Wii, to Carson’s favorite weekly never ending FaceTimes and love for gossiping. Even though they make it official next March, I’ve already considered Carson as my weird, crazy, VERY dramatic brother.

Many of my childhood memories as cousins are filled with all of us going on roadtrips, celebrating birthdays, sleepovers, endless trips to Marine World, and always playing with Andrea when no one else would. I cherish our relationship as we have discovered many similarities and I couldn’t be more proud of the woman she is today, especially since I now can call her with all my medical questions! I’m proud to be a witness to not only Andrea’s journey, but also Andrea and Carson’s relationship throughout the years after meeting Carson working at Larry’s together and having his family treat ours like their own. The love, patience, kindness, generosity, and empathy the two show to each other and everyone in their lives is unparalleled, a power couple in their own right, and will serve them well as they start their next chapter as husband and wife. Hello, my name is Spencer, I’m Carson’s brother. As all great legends begin, we start with a car and a dream. This car was a Ford Escape, your average 10 minute car. Carson challenged me (the undefeated champion) to a race. After Carson and I raced, he lost so badly his car broke down. I drove all the way back to get him. When I found him, he thanked me, and I said “that’s what friends are for”. He turned to me and said, “I don’t got friends, I got family”. We have been brothers ever since. Hyped to be a part of their big day!

Hello everyone, I’m Anahi! Andrea and I met in the second grade and we’ve been stuck together ever since. There's never been a dull moment with her and I couldn’t have asked for a better best friend. I've been so fortunate to grow up with her and be able to see each other’s every graduation and special event, cheer her on as she pursues her career, and now being able to see this major milestone is a blessing. I feel honored to stand by her side as she begins this beautiful new chapter alongside Carson. Can’t wait to celebrate with all of you!

Growing up, Carson was always one of the older kids who I knew had my back no matter what, all while being more than willing to inflict more physical and psychological pain than ever thought possible without hesitation if I ever crossed him. I’m terrified of him but I love him like a brother. Andrea really brings out the gentle side of him and I’m super excited to see them get married! From one first responder to another, congrats!

Hi, my name is Kelly! Andrea is one of my closest friends in med school. Honestly, I thought our friendship was over when she refused to be my roommate 3 years ago, but look at us now! My favorite thing about our friendship is how we always showed up for each other—whether it was early mornings/late nights setting up school events or finding free things to do in Fresno like the watching the Grinch Parade, singing Christmas songs while driving down Christmas Tree Lane, or even hitting up Table Mountain Casino for free ice cream and winning a few cents.
