Lodi is considered wine country. Many of the wines you drink are made from Lodi-grown grapes, including major brands. Even Napa Valley wineries use grapes from Lodi. The wineries are beautiful and fun to tour.

If you’re visiting from out of town and have extra time to explore, we highly recommend a trip to Apple Hill! Located in the beautiful Sierra foothills, Apple Hill is known for its charming orchards, wineries, bakeries, and cozy mountain-town atmosphere. In the fall especially, you’ll find fresh apple cider donuts, homemade pies, scenic views, pumpkin patches, and local wine tasting.
If you enjoy visiting the zoo, Sacramento Zoo has over 300 species, including endangered species such as the Red Panda, Snow Leopard, and the Golden Lion Tamarin. They also have a beautiful carousel and offer giraffe feedings.
Downtown Lodi offers plenty of great restaurants, shops, and a good movie theater.

Micke Grove Zoo is a fun and easy outing where you can see unique animals from around the world. It’s a smaller zoo, making it perfect for a relaxed visit, and it’s located within a beautiful park with gardens and picnic areas to enjoy as well.
