This is where we had our first dinner date! Katie's father, Dean, used to own this restaurant when it was known as Cushing Street Bar & Restaurant. Sheryl Crow performed here before she hit it big and Dean asked her to turn the volume down. She subsequently told him to go to hell.
Great coffee, walking distance from the Arizona Inn! Katie recommends checking out the tchotchkes. Very Tucson, very southern Arizona!
Supposedly the best local coffee roaster. Katie recommends this if the Bruegger's parking lot is full.
Hansen-Bell family favorite! Between the family, someone eats here at least once a week.
For those that love a good hike and great views! Great opportunity to see various desert creatures, including Gila monsters, deer, cactus wrens, and more (more unfortunately does include snakes) PS you will have to pay for parking!
Incredible place to visit, even if you're not an airplane person. So much rich history tucked directly south of the Boneyard and Davis Monthan Air Force Base. Also (!!!) featured in the iconic and charming film 'Can't Buy Me Love' with a young Patrick Dempsey.
This is where our parents met for the first time! They make a mean cocktail and have some of the best home made pasta in the city.
Best brewery in Tucson
Known for their snickerdoodle pancakes and also their eggs Benedict. If one should partake in too many adult beverages, Baja works its magic and the headache disappears.
Be on the lookout for Katie's mom, Sandy - this is her favorite trail! Incredible views of the city when you make it to the top. Fair warning: it is incredibly steep at times. Prepare your butt cheeks to be sore.
For those of you that want to see the true Sonoran desert! The park so nice, they made it twice (Saguaro National Park East and Saguaro National Park West)
Great bagels!
Grab a Sonoran hotdog (or 10) here - a Tucson classic! Best Sonoran hotdogs in all the land. So help us God if anyone counters back with BK's is better
Although the best bagel in town is hotly contested between Katie and Carson, Bruegger's has superior coffee. Katie highly recommends the hazelnut. When spending time in Tucson, Carson is kind enough to entertain Katie's antics and stop by Bruegger's before grabbing some bagels from Bubbe's. She sure is one lucky gal -- pregaming her bagels with more bagels
One of Tucson's longest-running traditions! It's celebrating its 100th year with weeklong festivities. Something truly unique to Tucson: never had spring break, always rodeo break. Luckily for Maggie, Katie's sister, it was perfect time to go to Disneyland.
