Where is the wedding ceremony and reception going to be held?

Answer

Our Ceremony and Reception will be held at Heyward Manor in Iva, SC. Please check our Travel page for accommodations if you are looking for a place to stay. ____________________________________________________________________________

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 5:00pm sharp. Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the ceremony to give yourself time to park and find a seat. ____________________________________________________________________________

In there a dress code?

What does (ALL BLACK) Black - Tie Attire mean?

Answer

To set the tone of our big day we are requiring that everyone show up in (ALL Black) Black-Tie Attire. Black-Tie is a formal dress code for special events such weddings. Are children welcome?

Answer

We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. While we love all of the children in our lives, we have decided to make this an adults-only celebration. If you have any questions, please reach out. ____________________________________________________________________________

Can I take photos and videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you do not have your phones or cameras out during the ceremony. Our photographer and videographer will be capturing our ceremony and we do not want any phones in our photos! Phones and cameras are welcome during the reception. ____________________________________________________________________________

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

We would appreciate if all photos and videos with bride and groom are not shared until the day after the wedding. Once Katelyn and Carson have posted, we look forward to seeing all of your pictures online. ____________________________________________________________________________

Is there a smoking section at the venue?

Our venue is very strict about this and ask that you smoke only in the parking lot. ____________________________________________________________________________

Should I speed in IVA ?

Answer

We advise all of our guest to allow enough time to to get to the venue. Here is a friendly warning :) Iva SC is full of Highway Patrol and we would hate for anyone to get pulled over on the way or leaving our wedding. ____________________________________________________________________________

Will there be handicap parking available?

Answer

Yes!! When you pull into the venue you will be greeted by a parking attendant that will lead you to the designated handicap parking.
