Jac and Carson met on a Monday night, a small detail that would later feel like a God-ordained beginning. Jac was celebrating the end of pledge ship with friends, while Carson was out celebrating her birthday. What started as friendly conversations and time spent together in big groups slowly grew into something deeper. Without realizing it, they were always choosing each other, partnered up for games, sitting together, and growing closer with every moment. The turning point came when Carson injured her ankle during a group outing. As everyone else continued on, Jac stayed behind, holding her hand at the bus stop, making sure she was not alone. A few weeks later, Jac drove Carson an hour to Macon for an ankle appointment, and a simple Chipotle stop became their first unofficial date, the day Jac officially won Carson over. On February 13, 2021, Jac told his mom about Carson, and the very next night they shared their first official date at Bibas in Milledgeville, beginning a Valentine’s Day tradition they would keep every year. Jac and Carson officially began dating on March 10, 2021, and for more than five years have walked through life hand in hand, always prioritizing communication, love, and faith. In 2025, their trust in God was tested when Jac suffered a seizure and was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Through every hospital stay and every uncertain moment, Carson never left his side, faithfully loving him and trusting God’s plan. On May 25, 2025, just before Jac underwent major surgery, he asked Carson to marry him. Now healed, strengthened, and deeply grateful, Jac and Carson step into marriage with God at the center, ready to lead their future and family together. What God brought together on a Monday night, He has faithfully carried through every season and will continue to bless forever.
