Carson was accompanying one of her friends on a first date since her friend was meeting a new man for the first time. To make the “third wheeling” less obvious and awkward, Carson decided to focus her attention on the bartender. Devin, who had not planned on working that day but picked up a shift for his friend (now groomsman), didn’t know his life was about to change forever. Their conversation flowed so well that Carson kept coming back to his bar in hopes that he would be working. Eventually, Devin got the hint and decided he too would like to spend more time at his place of employment — as long as Carson was there. After lots of time spent with Carson and her friends, acting as their Uber on most nights, Devin finally decided to ask her out on a real date.
