They say everything happens for a reason, and as we look back on our story, we truly believe that’s true. Our paths first crossed when we were just kids. Cordell was in Boy Scouts with my older brother, so he was often around our house. I was about eight years old when, one day, while they were hanging out, Cordell told me I was being annoying and needed to leave. It’s a memory we still laugh about today, never imagining what the future would hold. Years later, on December 15, 2024, life brought us back together. What began as a simple reconnection quickly turned into something neither of us expected. Something real, steady, and full of love. Since that day, we haven’t left each other’s side.
