Caroline had just moved back from her mom’s when she and Carson connected on the Fourth of July. They were both out watching fireworks with friends and somehow ended up on the phone. Even after going their separate ways that evening, they started talking every single day, and never really stopped. Not long after, they had their first date at the movies (a true classic), and from there they quickly became inseparable. They’ve grown up side by side, walking through high school, college, and all the stages of life that followed. Becoming high school sweethearts is something that’s always felt incredibly special to them. They’ve loved growing together, building a life filled with love, laughter, and a whole lot of memories along the way.
Carson and Caroline got engaged in Mexico in June 2024, and it was truly the perfect beach moment. Since Caroline has always loved the beach, Carson knew it had to happen by the water. His mom told them they were going to take family photos, which gave Carson the perfect excuse to get Caroline down to the beach. When they walked out onto the sand, there was a heart made out of seaweed waiting for them. With just the ocean waves in the background, Carson got down on one knee, and the rest is history. It was simple, sweet, and completely them.
