We met through a mutual friend in Jacksonville. At the time, Carlee was living in South Florida and made the trip north for a weekend visit with her college friend, Taylor. When Carson saw on social media that Carlee was in town, he reached out to Taylor and joined them for dinner at Cruisers. After dinner, the three of us ended up at Pete’s Bar—and that’s where we really connected. After the weekend, Carlee returned home, but we kept in touch, talking every day. A few weekend visits later, Carson made the trip to South Florida to meet Carlee’s family. That summer, Carlee moved to Jacksonville for school, and the rest is history!
