Dine, drink, and shop in downtown Truckee! There are so many great options downtown but we definitely recommend grabbing a beer at FiftyFifty Brewing, Old Town Tap, Alibi Aleworks, and/or Craft and Logic. It's also a must to go to Coffeebar!
Biking in Tahoe/Truckee during the ski offseason is one of our favorite activities together, so it would be awesome to add a bike ride to your weekend itinerary! There are so many trails in the area but to name a few nearby - Donner Lake Rim Trail, Sawtooth Ridge Network, and Jackass Ridge.
A flat, paved 9.6 mile walk that showcases Truckee's beauty and fall foliage!
Bike or walk along the beautiful Donner Lake! Very scenic 8 mile loop.
Enjoy restaurants, bars, and bike trails!
Tahoe City is a great spot to walk along the water, have a meal, or do some shopping. Go to Tahoe House for coffee or Sunnyside, Jake's, or Christy Hill for a lakeside meal! There are also lots of kayak, paddle board, and boat rentals if you'd like to get out on the lake.
If you venture out to Tahoe for dinner, this spot has great lake views and cocktails. One of our go-to nice dinner spots whenever we're in town.
Grab a coffee and take in the views on a walk through the valley. Take the Gondola up to High Camp (if open in off-season)!
It's a bit out of the way but if you're visiting Tahoe for the first time, the Emerald Bay view is breathtaking and well worth the drive!
