We’re so excited to welcome everyone at 4:30 p.m. for a short ceremony at the Dark Sky Planetarium. Afterward, we’ll head down to the Great Planetary Hall to enjoy drinks, charcuterie, and some time together. Pizzicletta will be serving fresh, wood-fired pizzas throughout the evening—vegetarian and gluten-free options will be available (just check in with their team). Don’t forget to stop by the photo booth and sign our guestbook! Once the sun sets, a telescope and guide will be available on the patio to explore the night sky from the very place where Pluto was discovered. We’re skipping the DJ and dance floor in favor of a relaxed evening of great food, drinks, and meaningful time with the people we love. We can’t wait to celebrate with you.
Semi-Formal or Dressy Casual is perfect, think outfits you’d wear to a nice dinner or a relaxed evening event. Jumpsuits, dresses, and button-downs are all great. No tie needed unless you really want to wear one. We kindly ask guests to avoid shorts or anything too formal. Most of the evening will be indoors, but Flagstaff nights can be chilly, so a light layer is a good idea.
We’ve put together a registry on Zola, which may link out to a few other sites, including Amazon. Please know that your presence is the only gift we truly hope for, celebrating together is what matters most to us.
The ceremony will begin at 4:30 p.m. at the open-air Dark Sky Planetarium, located on the rooftop of the Lowell Observatory. Getting there is quick—Lowell is just a 2–3 minute drive up Mars Hill and about 5–7 minutes from downtown Flagstaff. As the Observatory will remain open to the public during our event, we recommend arriving 15–20 minutes early to allow time for parking, entering the grounds, and making your way up to the Planetarium. Signage will be posted, and staff members are happy to assist if needed. We kindly suggest planning your route ahead of time, as Flagstaff can be busy this time of year.
