Natalie and Cotton’s paths first crossed in June of 2023 when they ran into each other at the front desk of Trufit Gym. Natalie immediately noticed that Cotton was wearing a T-shirt from her favorite band and sparked a quick conversation. Something about him felt familiar and good, and she walked away with a quiet sense of intrigue. For the next nine months, they remained friendly acquaintances. Their conversations grew, their admiration multiplied, and both had fleeting “what if” moments…yet the timing never seemed to line up. Over time, their connection settled into a natural friendship built on trust and mutual respect. Eventually, Natalie realized there might be something deeper between them and started dropping flirty hints… which Cotton, true to form, didn’t catch right away. Finally, in February of 2025, Natalie had a realization that it was time to be less subtle with her hinting. They had a conversation and though they were nervous to put their friendship on the line, they decided to give dating a try. Thankfully the risk was worth it and the two fell in love. In November of 2025, they eloped, bought their first home together, and haven’t stopped smiling since. They are, quite literally, living their happily ever after.
