Shannon and Amanda met the classic way: by matching on the app HER in 2018. Their first date was a sweet experience. They went to the movies and saw Mamma Mia 2: Here We Go Again. They laughed, cried, and held hands. Shannon thought the date went great, the first one in a long time that was perfect. Amanda thought Shannon just wanted to be friends...until they planned a second date! A few of Shannon and Amanda’s favorite memories from their time together: spending a week in France at Moster Winny’s countryside home, Disneyland’s Sweethearts Night was romantic beyond compare, and adopting their dog Monty, to name a few. Shannon and Amanda’s proposal was a bit unique as it ended up being a somewhat joint proposal. Amanda planned to propose to Shannon during their beach trip to Fort Bragg, CA to celebrate their second anniversary as a couple—and Shannon had the same idea. During a sunset picture shoot with the ocean in the background, Shannon presented a surprise cross stitch and got down on one knee! Amanda revealed that she was planning the same thing but Shannon’s ring hadn’t gotten there in time. Hugs and kisses were shared, and it was an amazing experience. We're so excited for you to join us as we say "I do" at our wedding in December of 2022.
