Everyone knows Carrington is a ninja, so what better place to meet her future husband than at a ninja gym! Open gym is every week, but this just happened to be the best one yet. Carrington was asking Mike (a groomsman), about this cute red head in the back of the gym. She approached Greg and then they spent hours sitting on a gym mat talking. Greg had this expensive bottled water, ZenWTR, that Carrington kept making fun of (You may see a few of them here at the wedding!). They began talking about different places they've eaten and Greg mentioned Mission BBQ. Carrington had never been, so she swooped in and asked him out on a date! Here they are now planning a wedding that will be catered by Mission BBQ!
Carrington always assumed she would get proposed to on the weedend, as she had class and work pretty much every day during the week. Greg, being a smart thinker, got someone to cover her classes at work so she would be free one evening! Lilly (a bridesmaid), just happened to want to hang out with Carrington, while Greg was all busy preparing for the special day. Carrington got back to her townhouse and found a sweet note waiting for her. She walked upstairs to find 20+ new dresses lying on her bed. She selected one for their date that evening as her suspicion began to grow! Greg came and picked her up in a big ole truck. The car ride to Bedford was a quiet one, but when they pulled into this beautiful plot of land, it was all worth it. Greg had a picnic all set out with rose petals, polariod pictures of their numerous adventures, and of course Mission BBQ. He turned on the speaker and started playing "I Like Me Better" by Lauv, grabbed the ring, got down on one knee, and proposed. What made it all the more special was that the photographer that evening was the same photographer that shot the Lauv concert they went to in DC prior. They got some GORGEOUS sunset photos with the mountains in the background. Afterwards, they headed back to Carrington's house to have a small engagement party with friends and family!
