We met the old-fashioned way- through a dating app called Hinge ;) We had both recently relocated to Hawaii and were eager to meet new people, both romantically and platonically. We initially matched on Hinge but God wasn't quite ready to have our paths cross. We became consumed with our jobs and life got busy for about 6 months, but we eventually reconnected again on Instagram. We finally met in person and our instant connection had us both feeling excited, happy, safe, and certain that we had found "the one". Our new relationship came right on the heels of Carrington accepting a new job position that would require moving to Los Angeles come August. So many questions! Do we attempt long distance? Could Andrew relocate? Would that be too soon? What should we do!? Our love for one another made that decision pretty easy as Andrew began looking for new employment, and effortlessly found a new company with a promoted position. God's plan and timing continued to amaze us! We packed up our things, blended our furry family, and headed back to the mainland. With each passing day and each new adventure that we experienced together, we knew more than ever that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives with one another. On Christmas eve of 2022, our fantasy became a reality as we got engaged! Taking these next steps of planning our wedding has been filled with so much fun, excitement, and most of all, love. To say we feel thankful and blessed to have found each other would be the biggest understatement. We cannot wait to continue growing our love for one another, deepening our connection with God, and taking these next steps together eventually as husband and wife! We cannot wait to celebrate with you!
