Litchfield Land Trust

Litchfield Land Trust has protected over 1,400 acres of land around our town. They have beautiful spots for easy walks in nature.

White Memorial Conservation Center

One of our favorite places to go for a walk is White Memorial. They have lovely, well-maintained boardwalk trail. We recommend going early before it gets too hot.

Litchfield Town Green

The Litchfield Green has lots of restaurants and local shops. Make sure not to miss Cobble Court (behind the post office) where a few of our favorite shops Little-ish and Milton Market are tucked away.

Krafted Brew Lab

This is, hands down, the best place for an espresso drink in Litchfield. It's tucked away at the back of the building.

Icebox Cafe

Our friends Peter and Marinell Crippen have opened, hands down, the best spot for breakfast in Litchfield County. Do not sleep on the cinnamon rolls, the blueberry muffins, Peter's homemade sourdough or the biscuit breakfast sandwiches. It's a little over 20 minutes from the center of Litchfield but definitely worth the drive.

Cornwall Market

Cornwall Market is a little country store that got an amazing makeover. Go for pastries, great coffee, grab and go food on your way to a hike or their VERY legit breakfast burrito.

Stonybrook Golf & Clubhouse Provisions

A great place for lunch with some of the best food in town and a fun place to play 9 holes.

Petraroia Deli

Petraroia Deli is a great place to grab a sandwich during the day.

Arethusa

Arethusa is a local dairy that has branched out into a few restaurants and an ice cream store. Arethusa a Mano is a good place for a quick breakfast or a cup of coffee. Arethusa Ice Cream is the best place for a sweet treat.

West Shore Seafood

A classic New England seafood shack for a casual lunch with a nice lawn.
