Russ helped Carrie at a Saturday Kid's Fishing Derby.

One of our favorite things to do is taking a walk in the woods.

Even though Carrie traveled a lot the first few months they dated Russ kept up his pursuit. Carrie brought him this gift of a carved tiger from India to show that.

This is our first selfie. We went bowling.

Milwaukee County has traveling beer trucks that rotate to different parks. Every Thursday night Russ would pick Carrie up from work and they'd check out a new park with a beer in hand.

Another Thursday evening beer garden park visit gave us a chance to hike along the river.

Hiking up a trail at one of Milwaukee County's parks after checking out the polka band and the beer truck.

This park had a path along Lake Michigan. The weather was chilly but we still had the glass of beer.

We celebrated the 4th of July by going to the Great Lakes Naval Base for music and amazing fireworks.

We tested our "campatabilty" in August. Russ used his new camp stove and Shane, David and Almond joined us. We also went to the Sweeney clan reunion to meet lots of family.

We decided to try fishing but didn't catch anything so we had burgers on the grill instead.

A small park near Carrie had music in the evening several times in the summer.

We make a good team. Here is an idea Carrie came up with for Thanksgiving and Russ did the work. We think this relationship has real potential!

The whole crew went out to get a Christmas tree - including a hay ride. Andrias, Laura, Paulina, Carrie and Russ had a great time.

We spent Christmas in Florida enjoying the ocean, sun and family.

We even enjoy hiking in the winter.

We are staying safe and ready to go out when we have to.

Hiking with Russ's mom near LaCrosse, WI

We enjoy biking together.

Playing games is a great way to pass the time.

We like to get outside and hike. This is at the top of a tower overlooking Pike Lake.

Geocaching is another great way to get out and see the sites. The thrill of finding one brings a smile to Russ's face.
