Downtown Charleston is very walkable! The Carta DASH is a free bus with routes all over the popular areas of downtown. This is convenient option to hop-on and hop-off and explore the area without paying for parking or Ubers. There are also bike taxis, rental bike shares (Lime and Holy Spokes), and Carta bus routes (with paid fare) across the greater Charleston area.
