Maid of Honor
Kayla and McKenna met, you guessed it, through playing a Survivor game. McKenna actually voted Kayla out, but afterwards, a friendship blossomed. Since then, McKenna visited Kayla in NYC regularly, and once Kayla met Carrie, the three of them were inseparable. Despite their playful rivalry over board games, Kayla and McKenna's bond has only grown stronger, rooted in their shared love for a good challenge.
Maid of Honor
Carrie met Karli when they both interviewed for UNLV's psychology PhD program. Carrie's first memory of Karli was when they both shared a kid-sized picnic table at the interview after party. Her second memory of Karli was when they shared a bed, and Carrie cuddled Karli's arm because she thought it was Jake the Chihuahua. The friendship grew from there, they became roommates, and spent many of their days drinking coffee and nights hunting scorpions.
Bridesmaid
Victoria is McKenna's oldest friendship, dating back to middle school, though neither of them can remember the origin. Victoria has been there through it all, from friendship drama, to boy drama and everything else grade school has to offer. Although their lives have taken many turns and physical moves, they remain close friends and Victoria has only threatened to stab McKenna 50ish times in 15 years so that's pretty good!
Bridesmaid
Carrie first met Laura when interviewing for their PhD program, but they didn't hang out until they went to Fremont Street for Halloween with Karli. Since then, they became quick friends, always hitting the casinos for a night of bingo! Laura has been a source of understanding, chill vibes, butterflies, chihuahua love, and tarot card fun.
Bridesmaid
Lilly and McKenna gradually became close after Lilly played a DCP Survivor game. Lilly quickly became someone McKenna could always depend on—a true rock in her life. One of the funniest memories they share is bonding over grocery shopping excursions during group trips, turning mundane tasks of "do we need 6 of these?" "No, probably just 2" into a moment of connection and laughter.

Karen and Carrie became fast friends while living in Dayton, Ohio, after being introduced by Carrie's former boyfriend at a St. Patrick's Day party. He suggested they meet for coffee, and from that moment, their bond was sealed. Carrie soon found herself spending almost every weekend and weekday evening at Karen's apartment, watching Ink Master and sharing wine. Despite big moves and life changes, their friendship has remained strong, continuing to grow over time.
Bridesmaid
After Kylie interviewed for a DCP game, McKenna immediately knew Kylie was destined to be one of McKenna's new best friends. Since then, Kylie has been a constant source of positivity, silliness, and laughter. One moment they always laugh about is when Kylie tried to get into their car at the airport, only to have security repeatedly tell her not to. Ironically, it took security longer to yell at her than it would have for Kylie to simply hop in the car!
Bridesmaid
Leeanna is Carrie's sister, and although Carrie can't recall the first time they met, the early memories Carrie fondly recalls is of their late night fridge raids, their cross-your-legs-so-you-don't-pee giggle fests, and their big dreams to get out of Columbia and see what life had in store for them. Neither one of them imagined Carrie would end up in New York and Leeanna would end up in Florida, but they did it.
Bridesman
Austin may be a newer friend compared to the rest of McKenna's bridal party, but they quickly formed a special connection and have been inseparable ever since. McKenna knew he was destined to be one of her best friends when he agreed to play board games with her at 9 a.m. (McKenna is still unsure if it was to appease her or if he actually wanted to play) during their trip to Seattle. Austin holds an extra-special role in the wedding, not only as a close friend but also as the talented graphic artist behind the wedding designs.
Bridesmaid
Carrie first met Carly when Wes (Carrie's brother) invited her to join them in Vegas for New Year’s. When people asked Carrie what she thought of Wes’s new girlfriend, her reply was, “She makes me want to be a better person.” Since then, Carly has wholeheartedly invested in their relationship as sisters, supporting Carrie through several major life changes and deepening their bond over time.
Officiant
Carrie and McKenna knew they wanted their officiant to be someone close to them who truly understood their relationship, and there was no one they could imagine asking but Kyle. Though Kyle is naturally reserved, when he’s happy, his smile lights up the room, radiating pure joy. One of their favorite memories together is spending a day at Cedar Point, where Kyle happily joined them on the tamer rides, laughing and enjoying the slower pace. Kyle also once mentioned on a Zoom call a few years back that he wanted to officiate a wedding and McKenna filed the information away for just this moment. His genuine warmth and connection with them made him the perfect choice for such an important role.
Alex Trias, Ian Moorhead, John Millsip, and Justin Miller
These men are all incredibly dear to McKenna and Carrie, and they knew their wedding wouldn’t feel complete without having them by their side. They envisioned the perfect role for them as flower men, allowing their humor and charm to shine while sharing special moments with the wedding guests. The joy they bring as flower men is sure to set a delightful vibe for a celebration filled with love and laughter.
