Estes Park is about an hour and a half from the airport. The views are beautiful and well worth the drive!
1. Take Highway 34 towards the Fall River entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park, (travel about 3 miles from the junction of Highway 34 bypass and Highway 34 commercial - Elkhorn Avenue. The intersection of McDonalds and the bronze statue of the Big Horn Sheep). 2. Make a left onto Fish Hatchery Road. (just before you need to turn you will see a sign on your right for the museum. There is also a Church just off the road at the corner of Hwy 34 and Fish Hatchery Road). Follow Fish Hatchery Road about 1 mile. If you get to Rocky Mountain National Mark you've gone too far. 3. The O'Connor Pavilion entrance is on your left just before the bridge. Just off the roadway between some trees you will see a locked gray gate. If you end up at the Historic Fall River Hydroplant Museum, which is a dead end, you've gone too far. 4. Enter through the gray gate. Go up to the dirt road until it opens up into a large meadow. Your designated event parking is in the open meadow on the left.
