Travel Note
Round-trip shuttles will be provided from downtown Dahlonega for both the Welcome Party on Friday night and the Wedding on Saturday evening. Please note that Ubers are not readily available in the area, so we recommend staying at The Smith House or one of the other hotels/inns near the downtown area to utilize the provided shuttles.
Hotel
The Smith House has 40 available rooms of varying layouts and is our recommended lodging option for guests. We have the entire property under a room block. To book, please call 706-725-8148 and book your preferred layout under the Ledgerwood/Hankin Wedding Block. The block expires on July 26th so be sure book soon!
House Or Rental
There are also many beautiful lodging options available through Airbnb or VRBO that are perfect for families or groups of friends that want to stay together! However, because Ubers are not always readily available in the area, we recommend booking a driver in advance through our preferred transportation vendor, DahloneGo.
Flight
The drive from the Atlanta airport to Dahlonega is about 1 hour and 15 minutes. We recommend renting a car, catching a ride with an Atlanta-based friend, or booking a private driver through our shuttle company, DahloneGo.
