When is my RSVP needed?

We need your RSVP by April 15, 2026.

Can I bring a plus one or children?

Answer

We wish we could celebrate with everyone but we kindly ask that you bring no more than is specified on your invitation and within your RSVP page on this website.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive prior to 4:00 pm to allow time to walk from the parking area to the ceremony location in the Meenan yard.

Where do we park for the wedding day?

Answer

Our generous next door neighbors are providing parking for the event. Please park at 8959 Critzers Shop Road, Afton, VA. 22920. We encourage carpooling!

Are there transportation services in the Afton area?

Answer

Please note that rideshare companies such as Uber and Lyft do NOT operate in the Afton area.

What should I wear?

Answer

Summer Cocktail Attire: short or long dresses, skirts/blouses, dressy jumpsuits, and suits, blazers/button-down shirts/slacks - ties are optional. The festivities are outside so please don't wear stiletto heels or other shoes that will sink in the grass.

Can I take photos during the wedding?

Answer

We ask that all phones be silenced and put away during the ceremony. Our photographers will handle all photos. During the cocktail hour and reception, you are welcome to take photos (and don't forget to share them with us!)

What if I have certain dietary restrictions?

Answer

The reception will be buffet style with a variety of options provided. If you are concerned about allergies or a very specific diet, please reach out to Carrie and Jack at carrieandjackswedding@gmail.com and we will make sure you are covered.
