It was like a dream. Carrie was walking down the aisle of a church when she first saw Harry. Her heart was racing, as if she knew he was someone special. They met at the baptism of Cayden, Harry's Godson. Thanks to Sarah and Kevin, they were inseparable the entire weekend. They both knew early on that they were meant to be. Harry moved to Indianapolis from Chicago. They fell deeper in love, hiking, going on trips, and cuddling on the couch. The more they learn about each other, the deeper their bond. They adopted Miles, their dog, and officially became a family. Their love has only grown stronger with time.
Carrie was suspicious that Harry would propose on Christmas. Christmas came and went, so she assumed it would happen sometime in 2018. Needless to say, she was absolutely shocked when she got home from work on December 28th. Harry opened the front door, grabbed all of her things, and told her to close her eyes for a surprise. Skeptical, Carrie went along with it, not even suspecting a proposal was in the works. Harry walked her to their kitchen table and brought their dog Miles over to them. When Carrie opened her eyes, she saw a table full of flowers and photos from throughout their relationship. Harry grabbed her hand, got down on one knee, and pulled a ring box from around Miles' neck. Miles sat intently the entire time. Carrie started crying, knowing this was the moment she had waited for since that first weekend they met. When Harry asked, Carrie excitedly answered, "Of course!"
