North Idaho Centennial Trail
Enjoy a beautiful walk, run, or bike ride alongside the lake. This trail runs all the way from Spokane to Montana, but our favorite stretch is from Silver Bay Marina to Higgins Point (5 miles each way). You can rent bikes from CDA Bike Co. on 3rd Street!
Chalice Brewing
Owned and operated by some of our first CDA friends, Brian and Kate Engdahl (Brian is also a Livermoron!). Enjoy an extensive tap list including Chalice's own brews as well as a variety of beers from other local breweries. Cheers!
Terre Coffee & Bakery | NW BLVD
Our favorite place to grab coffee. Their bagel sandwiches and cinnamon rolls are also amazing! There are several locations throughout Coeur d'Alene and Post Falls.
Tubbs Hill
A local favorite, this quick 2 mile loop provides breathtaking views of Lake Coeur d'Alene. If you're feeling adventurous, you can also hike down to one of several beaches from the main trail. Tubbs holds a special place in our hearts, as it is where we got engaged!
Hiawatha Trail
Located a ways outside of town in Taft, MT, the Hiawatha Trail is an old railroad route that was converted into a bike trail. It entails riding through tunnels and along trestle bridges, with gorgeous scenery the whole way! This is a one-way downhill ride with the option to take a shuttle back to the starting point. Or if you're up for a challenge, you can turn around and ride back up. Please note that in order to ride, you must first purchase tickets and then check in at Lookout Pass Ski Resort in Mullan, ID. A great spot to grab a drink right by the lake. They usually have live music too!
Sanders Beach
Our favorite spot to soak in the sun, paddle board around Tubbs Hill, and enjoy the beautiful mountain views.
Q'emiln Park
Our favorite spot for a quick hike or trail run near the Spokane River in Post Falls. There's also a city park with river access if you're feeling up for a float or paddle board sesh! $10 parking fee, or free street parking is available nearby.
Republic Kitchen+Taphouse
Our favorite local spot to grab a bite to eat. We highly recommend the Roasted Avocado Nachos!
The Snake Pit
Idaho's oldest bar and restaurant. Dare you to try the Rocky Mountain Oysters!
Le Peep
A delicious breakfast spot located right on the Spokane River. Get there early or call ahead...they get busy! Please note that you must get your parking validated at the hostess desk once you arrive.
