Welcome to CDA! We're so excited to share some of our favorite local spots with you!
North Idaho Centennial Trail

North Idaho Centennial Trail

Enjoy a beautiful walk, run, or bike ride alongside the lake. This trail runs all the way from Spokane to Montana, but our favorite stretch is from Silver Bay Marina to Higgins Point (5 miles each way). You can rent bikes from CDA Bike Co. on 3rd Street!

Chalice Brewing

A local favorite, this quick 2 mile loop provides breathtaking views of Lake Coeur d'Alene. If you're feeling adventurous, you can also hike down to one of several beaches from the main trail. Tubbs holds a special place in our hearts, as it is where we got engaged!

Hiawatha Trail

Hiawatha Trail

Lookout Pass Ski Resort, Mullan, ID 83846
, 208-744-1301

Located a ways outside of town in Taft, MT, the Hiawatha Trail is an old railroad route that was converted into a bike trail. It entails riding through tunnels and along trestle bridges, with gorgeous scenery the whole way! This is a one-way downhill ride with the option to take a shuttle back to the starting point. Or if you're up for a challenge, you can turn around and ride back up. Please note that in order to ride, you must first purchase tickets and then check in at Lookout Pass Ski Resort in Mullan, ID. You can either rent bikes there or bring your own. For more information, please see the website attached.
