We're Getting Married

It all started on a Wednesday. Well, let's back up...It actually started when Carrie's lifelong high school friend (a gentleman, but with excellent taste) asked to see her Bumble online dating app and stared to scroll through her matches. It just so happened that he was the one who actually swiped right on Graham. After some flirtatious text banter, numbers were quickly exchanged and Carrie and Graham had their first date at a local Wine Bar in Encinitas. Graham was drawn to Carrie’s humor and outgoing personality, while Carrie couldn’t resist Graham's curious nature and blue eyes. After many more Wednesday nights, dozens of oysters and two heavy metal concerts (pick your aphrodisiac) - Carrie and Graham discovered a mutual love of travel, music, design, cooking, and the great outdoors. Things were great! But Graham couldn't quite figure out why Carrie would get a little chippy at the end of their many adventures. Whether it be the rocky mountain road trips, Hawaii island exploration, cultural excursions to cities, or remote campsites, Graham was clueless... In April, Graham finally had the epiphany and began to scheme how to lure Carrie into a surprise proposal. On a... yes you called it..., Wednesday, he tempted Carrie to the top of a mountain with promise of a meteor shower. When Carrie started researching the cosmic event, the fates intervened and actually created one, because Graham had not thought that far ahead. During a beautiful sunset, Graham finally popped the questions and Carrie said YES! Described by their friends and family as “a little bit country, and a little bit city" couple, Carrie and Graham now spend their weekends living by the beach, surfing, cooking, renovating their home and enjoying outdoor fires. We can’t wait to celebrate this exciting new chapter with all our friends and family!
