Welcome to our wedding!

We met through a mutual friend of ours after he called her on Halloween. While he was home for Thanksgiving, I thought he was cute and decided to tell her to have him meet us at the mall. Even with only his eyes showing due to a mask, I knew he was someone special. Little did I know how special he would be.

Our first official date was at wild wings for lunch before he headed back to base. It was filled with laughter and bonding until an unexpected facetime... from his mother. Much to my surprise he ANSWERED it. Not only did he answer it he flipped the camera around so not only was it a date, I also met his mom. I knew then I would have to get on her good side.

We had the pleasure of doing a family vacation after Christmas. I am a huge harry potter fan and we had just aquired our interactive wands. After going around and performing a few spells we made our way a store front in Diagon Alley. Like a cheesy hallmark movie, he tied his shoes and reached for a ring. I stood surprised. I happily said yes for my dad to then say “where is your mom”… little did we know my mom wasnt there 😂 for the next hour we tried to find a way to have Christian repropose with my mom there. After many attempts we finally got the video and my moms face was worth every second. Little did i know she wasn’t in on the proposal.
