You’re cordially invited

We both were invited to a mutual birthday party, my older cousin/her BFF with intentions to have fun… during the whole night we were talking to one another in ways where it felt like we’ve known one another for a lifetime. Every time she left the room, I felt a since of concern, every where I went, there she was. However, we both left the party without an exchange of numbers nor names. And then, it was MY birthday, and boy did we have a ball; our first kiss was shared and we were in love, lol. Still did not have one another’s name or numbers. I flew out to Dubai, but shortly after I returned, we made a priority to spend time with one another, and it’s been that way ever since. And I know you’re wondering, and yes, yes we have one another’s name and number now; embedded in our hearts forever
