No. We love your doggies! The venue will only allow a few dogs, so Maggie and Zia will be there but please leave your pet at home or at your campsite/lodging offsite.
We kindly ask that you find a baby sitter for the weekend if it is possible. Our venue is very strict about the people limit and is almost an hour from reliable services, so we encourage the young ones to stay home. If you need to bring them, of course they are welcome, but please reach out to us to confirm so we can plan accordingly.
We love the relationships and loved ones that our friends have, but we have a strict limit on the amount of people the venue can hold. All invitations have specified who has a plus one.
There are limited accommodations at the wedding venue. Those staying on site are aware. There is dispersed camping down the road, which is where we are encouraging our local friends to camp (we have reserved a port-o-potty for the ones staying there). The camping folks are encouraged and welcomed to shower at the venue and use the kitchen. OR, if you want to camp and rent an RV, there is a GPS location in the 'travel' page where there is BLM land. You can arrange to have an RV dropped off in this location. Reach out to Carrie / Ben if you have questions about renting RVs. Those that aren't interested in camping will have the most success in staying in Poncha Springs / Salida. Please also check out the Travel page for more information.
Meals provided to our guests are the Friday night welcome dinner, Saturday evening wedding reception, and Sunday morning bagels. There is a kitchen for use on the Steel Horse property - please plan for this! We recommend grocery shopping in Salida, as there are NO places in Villa Grove.
Reach out to Carrie & Ben! We can try to help you out and arrange for supplies.
