Tristan’s version: When I arrived to our first date after a long walk from Grand Central, I saw a beautiful blonde sitting at the bar and thought maybe I had bitten off more than I could chew! Needless to say, I was a little nervous. The seat next to her was quite close so I decided to sit in the second chair away because we had never met before and I didn’t want to suffocate her. In the middle of the date she looked at me and said “Are you going to sit next to me or what?” Happily I did and the rest is history. Carrie’s version: We met in January 2024 at a bar in Manhattan, halfway between Brooklyn and Greenwich, CT. It was exciting to feel the obvious connection between us early on. Metro-North Railroad became our new best friend when we started dating back and forth between New York City and Connecticut. Traveling and exploring new places became our love language. It wasn’t long before we scheduled a trip to Africa to visit Tristan’s parents. Little did I know Tristan had planned more than just a safari :) Engaged on 8.12.24 and to be married on 9.13.25 - coincidentally one year, one month, and one day apart! We truly can’t wait to celebrate our love with everyone and start this new adventure together. Let the countdown begin!
