We're Getting Married!

On one winter night in January of 2020, both Collin and Carrie wound up at a game night in the community room of the Quarry, the apartment complex where they both were living in Eagan. Carrie was prompt but as expected Collin was fashionably late. He says he was at work but who knows at this point. Some other games were played but the one we need to focus on is Catch Phrase. Carrie loves Catch Phrase with all her heart. There is a 90% chance that is in her car right now. Just in case. While the whole group was playing and getting into it, especially our friend Alanna Finger. That girl gets excited playing games. Collin and Carrie start getting competitive. Collin pretty much making fun of how intense Carrie is getting. Sometime Carrie stands up and puts her foot up onto a chair. Collin took it as her "asserting her dominance". This be came a thing the next few nights. As the game night ends, a few from the group wants to hangout or go do something the next night. They go to the bars in downtown Minneapolis. (unheard of now) This is where Collin decides to PLANT ONE on Carrie. COMPLETELY UNEXPECTED. Carrie enjoyed it anyway. The next few weeks Carrie and Collin were inseparable. Carrie would go hangout and drink wine with her new found friend from game night, Mariah, then go down to hangout with Collin. vise versa. Eventually Collin would ask Carrie to a real date. Dairy Queen. Carrie was soooooooo nervous but ready for the ice cream. Things went well and they started dating less than a month after meeting. Then Covid hit. Carrie was just starting a new job in healthcare. Over the next hundred "two weeks to stop the spread" they had all the time in the world to hangout and get to know each other. Fast forward a couple years, here we are!
