Other Hotels closer to Atlanta

The towns of Cumming and Alpharetta have more hotel brand options and are in between downtown Atlanta (the airport) and the venue in Dawsonville. There are not going to be wedding activities down here but if you're looking for different hotel brands, you'll want to look at hotels in Cumming or Alpharetta. Drive is about 25-35 minutes from this area to the wedding venue.

Other Hotels in the Mountains

Downtown Dahlonega has smaller boutique hotels/inns that are highly rated. There are also lodges around Amicalola Falls State Park and numerous Mountain View Air BnB's/VRBO's. If you find available rentals, book soon because these fill up quickly in the fall! This area is also wine country so there's plenty to do north of the venue! These will be anywhere from 20-40 minutes from the venue.
