Becoming Mrs. Harris

People say that realtors have a gift in finding just the right house for you. Well, in our case, not only did our realtor match each of us with homes, but she also matched us with each other! In early March 2020, Christy Jolly was going through her client list and felt what she describes as a “God tug” when she came across our names. She first reached out to Carri and asked if she was interested in meeting a “friend”. Carri wasn’t really looking for anything but agreed. Given the green light, Christy reached out to Terry to see if he was interested. Terry also agreed so Christy shared our contact information with each other. Neither of us acted on it right away. When Terry finally made the first move and reached out a few weeks later, COVID had the world shut down. We could not meet anywhere so we spent 2 full months texting each other. By the time things started opening up again and we were finally able to meet face-to-face, we felt like we really “knew” each other, and Carri says that she knew Terry was her person. God truly blessed us by bringing us together at just the right time in our lives. We give Him all the glory each day we are together.
