They met each other at college, she was a freshman and he was a junior. They both were in the same clubs and saw each other around campus a few times. While he was already in a fraternity, she pledge the sister sorority to his fraternity. After she crossed that's when Anthony made his move to talk to her. It took a year before Anthony got up the courage to ask Gabrielle to be his girlfriend during a water tube ride at Mountain Creek water park, with a beautiful ruby red promise ring (she still has it). It was the most romantic promise proposal ever!

Fast forward 6-1/2 years later, Anthony planned the second most romantic proposal. It wasn't an easy planning either. Gabrielle would always find a way to figure out what was happening (that's with any surprise he tried to do). He had to get his mom to help him out and have her call Gabrielle to plan a "mini trip" to Cape May, NJ, along with his cousin Michelle. At first Gabrielle didn't really suspect much of it, until she heard Alexa's notification of a package that was delivered that had lit up candles. She suspected he was going to propose that day with his mom and cousin there. On the day of, his mom "cancelled" because his cousin was sick and had to stay home. So once they arrived to Cape May, Anthony wanted to take a walk on the beach with their shoes on (odd!), but she thought it was romantic too. She saw there were rose petals and a heart shape outlined with lit up candles in the sand. While she expected the proposal, she didn't expect what was going to happen next. They both stood inside the candle lit heart, and with Anthony on bended knee, he asked Gabrielle if she would marry him. With tears and little hesitation... she said YES!
