We're getting married!

Jose and Gaby met as coworkers at the Roseville Galleria. Their first date was a trip to the movie theater to see 'Come Play', a movie they both thought was awful. They started dating shortly before Jose had to move back to San Diego for work. They maintained a long-distance relationship, taking turns making the trip from Sacramento to San Diego, and vice versa. When Gaby was accepted into San Diego State University, she moved to San Diego. After 1.5 years of living on opposite side of the state, they rented their first place together: a cramped 1 bedroom apartment with no AC and terrible parking. On June 22 2024, Jose proposed to Gaby in Miyajima, Japan. They now live happily engaged in Vista, CA, with their two cats: Baja and Blast.
