If I had to thank UAlbany for one thing, it would be placing Mackenzie as my suite-mate Sophomore year. I knew from the moment I learned she loved horses and country music we would be best friends for life. After about 4 months of living together, Kenz told me about this guy, Hunter that she was going on a date with during winter break. At first I was skeptical, but then I saw he looked just like country artist Scotty McCreery and instantly approved (LOL). The first time I met Hunter in person was during our spring semester sophomore year and I couldn’t imagine anyone better for Mackenzie! I can’t believe it’s been 2.5 years since then and now they’re getting MARRIED! I am so honored to be standing by your sides on your big day and celebrating both of you! Congratulations to Hunter and Mackenzie!! I have known Hunter since Elementary school where we had become friends. There have been many heart-to-hearts and four wheeler rides in past years. Hi, I’m Amy! I have known Mackenzie for a little over 4 years now. I met her when I started to date her brother, Maverick. Then through Mackenzie I met Hunter! The Carpenters have always been so welcoming to me and have truly made me feel like a part of the family. Through going to the Harris family’s annual 4th of July parties I have seen how welcoming they have been to not just Mackenzie but to everyone who comes through their door. Hi I am Maverick, Mackenzie's little brother. Mackenzie and I have always been very close and I can't image not having her in my life. She has always been the big sister anyone could want, she has always been there for me. The many, many years of laughing until our stomach hurts is something I will cherish forever! When I met Hunter I knew he was the best man for my sister. Hunter has been apart of our family since their first date and has been like a brother to me. Hunter helped me get my license and would come over to hang out after work even when Mackenzie was in college. Hunter would do anything for Mackenzie and that is all a little brother could hope for! I am so happy for them and can't wait to stand next to my big sister and soon to be brother during the best day of their life!
