We've known each other since 3rd grade. Carolynn said she had the BIGGEST crush on me, but I think she says that to make me feel better. I did think he was cute, especially his cute little dimples! Then we went to middle school together. We would pass each other in the hallways and say, "Hi, best friend!". We went our separate ways to different high schools. We went years without talking or seeing each other. We were even at the same concert two different times and didn't know! Eventually I got Facebook and tracked her down (respectfully). She ignored my friend request and message for almost a week, she claims she couldn't remember who I was! I didn't respond because he looked way different and didn't put his last name on Facebook! I kept looking at the "Ls" and eventually... it hit me. "OMG MOM, my 3rd grade crush friend requested me on Facebook!". She finally accepted my request and messaged me back. I didn't message her back for a whole day because I scared. I was at the Boise State Conference Championship game standing in the freezing cold when I finally responded! We immediately hit it off. We decided to finally go on a little date! The night of December 21st we went and drove around listening to music and looking at the Christmas lights. He was so quiet! I sat there and yapped and he just listened. I was so worried he was freaked out! Carolynn saw lights that WERE NOT moving (They were, I was just teasing her). We started officially dating on January 5th, 2025. We had so much fun going to concerts together. I knew pretty quick that she was the one! she picked out two rings, and I pick the one from there. I proposed June 19th, 2025. A day before I took her to see two of her favorite bands live! We had so much fun. Now we are planning our wedding! We can't wait to celebrate with our friends and family. Mr. & Mrs. Lords coming October 18th, 2026!
